Austin FC encourages fans to consider bicycling as a means of transportation to Q2 Stadium for their upcoming match against El Paso Locomotive FC on Wednesday, May 7. The stadium, designed with limited car parking, offers bicycle valet parking on its east side near the McKalla Station CapMetro Rail stop.

The process is straightforward: fans can present their bicycles at the valet and receive a ticket. During the game, stadium staff will secure the bikes in an enclosed area. After the match, presenting the ticket allows for easy retrieval of bicycles.

Recent infrastructure improvements have made cycling to Q2 Stadium safer. Protected bike lanes were added last season to Rutland Drive, providing access from the south via McKalla Place. In 2024, additional protected lanes were installed on Kramer Lane, facilitating access from West Braker Lane to the north. A new shared-use path has also been introduced alongside railroad tracks off Braker as part of the Red Line Trail project.

With kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m., Austin FC advises cyclists to wear bright or reflective clothing and use lights since it will be dark by the end of the game.
