Austin police seek help identifying suspect in indecent exposure cases

The Austin Police Department (APD) is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in multiple indecent exposure incidents. The cases, under investigation by the APD Sexual Crimes Unit, have been occurring from January through April.

According to authorities, the incidents took place on the 300 block of 38th Street and the 300 block of 39th Street. “The suspect, whose photo and description are included in this release, exposed himself to multiple victims,” stated an official communication from the police department.

Individuals with information are encouraged to contact the APD Sex Crimes Unit at 512-974-5230. Tips can also be submitted anonymously via the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program at austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
