Austin police seek public’s help to identify suspect in Subway robbery

The Austin Police Department’s Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in a robbery at a Subway restaurant on E. Ben White Boulevard. The incident took place on April 5, 2025, between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

The suspect reportedly jumped onto the counter and demanded cash while threatening the use of a gun. He acquired an undisclosed amount of cash and exited the premises on foot.

The APD urges anyone with information to contact their Robbery Unit at 512-974-5092. Tips can be submitted anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program online at austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for any information that results in an arrest.
