Austin police seek suspects in armed robbery at Mi Pueblito restaurant

Austin Police Department (APD) detectives are seeking public assistance in identifying several individuals connected to an aggravated robbery that took place at Mi Pueblito on April 9, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 9:45 p.m. at the location on 8237 Research Boulevard SVRD WB.

According to the APD Robbery Unit, multiple suspects armed with handguns entered the business. They forced the victims to the ground and demanded access to the cash register, making off with an unspecified amount of cash. Descriptions and photos of the suspects were provided by the authorities.

On April 13, 2025, at around 2:58 p.m., a person of interest related to the robbery was seen purchasing items at 9436 Parkfield and then leaving in the same vehicle identified as being used in the robbery.

The police department requests anyone with information to contact APD’s Robbery unit at 512-974-5092. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. Information that leads to an arrest might be rewarded with up to $1,000.
