The Austin Reuse Directory is helping residents find and purchase secondhand items such as clothing, electronics, baby gear, school supplies, furniture, and appliances at local resale and repair shops. The directory also allows users to locate shops that accept donations of reusable products.

Businesses focused on sustainability can list their services for free in the directory, which aims to connect them with customers interested in buying or repairing used goods. An event calendar has been added to the platform, featuring eco-friendly workshops and fix-it clinics. This new feature seeks to foster connections between residents and businesses while encouraging reuse practices.

Shopping through the Austin Reuse Directory supports the city’s zero waste by 2040 goal. For more information or to participate, individuals and businesses are encouraged to visit AustinReuseDirectory.com.
