Brooke Wells, a former Vista Ridge High School star now playing for Alabama, is set to participate in the NCAA softball tournament with the Crimson Tide.

Alabama is entering the competition as a No. 1 seed and will face the top-seeded Nebraska Cornhuskers.

The opening matchup is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, at 6 p.m. at Devon Park.
