Caroline Harris Davila, State Representative for Texas’s 52nd House district and a Republican elected in 2023, recently posted a series of tweets highlighting both her political activities and personal reflections.
On December 7, 2025, Davila shared a religious message quoting scripture: “A voice cries: ‘In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.’” Isaiah 40:3.
Two days later, on December 9, she invited supporters to an upcoming campaign event: “We’re just ONE DAY AWAY from my Campaign Kickoff Fundraiser! Join me tomorrow, Wednesday, December 10th, at the Old Settlers Association for dinner and a live auction. I’m grateful for your support- grab your tickets today! #txlege”.
Later that same day, Davila described participating in an event at the Governor’s Mansion alongside state leaders and representatives from Turning Point USA (TPUSA): “Great day at the Governor’s Mansion yesterday with @TPUSA leaders, @LtGovTX, and @GregAbbott_TX for a press conference highlighting support to put a TPUSA chapter on every TX high school & college campus! Also enjoyed getting to show some of our young leaders the House Chamber”.
Davila assumed office after winning election in 2023 to represent District 52 in the Texas State House. She succeeded James Talarico as part of her party’s continued efforts to engage constituents across education initiatives and legislative events.
