Caroline Harris Davila, a State Representative, recently shared several updates and reflections through her social media platform. Her posts cover a range of topics from personal reflections to legislative achievements.
On June 1, 2025, Davila shared a biblical verse from Isaiah 40:31: “They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” This post reflects her engagement with spiritual themes.
The following day, on June 2, 2025, she announced the progress of Senate Bill 1191, stating that it is “headed to the Governor’s desk.” The bill aims to standardize GPA calculations across Texas high schools to ensure fair credit for Advanced Placement (AP) and dual credit classes. She expressed gratitude for collaborating with Senator Creighton on this legislation.
Later that same day, Davila expressed pride in authoring House Bill 4099. According to her post, the bill has passed both the House and Senate and is now “headed to the Governor’s desk.” The legislation will allow Texans direct access to physical therapy for up to 30 days without requiring a referral. She thanked Charles Schwertner for his leadership in advancing this initiative in the Senate.
