Caroline Harris Davila, State Representative for Texas’s 52nd House district and a Republican elected in 2023, has recently shared updates about her activities and reflections on social media.
On February 8, 2026, Davila posted a Bible verse, quoting John 8:12: “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’” John 8:12.
The following day, February 9, she commented on local civic engagement: “It was great to hear from Mayor Dwayne Ariola as he gave the State of Our City presentation at the Taylor Chamber’s Business Luncheon today. I also enjoyed going door to door and visiting with voters and getting more signs out. Only 8 more days until early voting starts!!”
Continuing her outreach efforts on February 10, Davila updated constituents about her campaign activities and upcoming election dates: “Out knocking on doors again today asking for support and letting voters know that early voting starts A WEEK FROM TODAY on February 17th! Make a plan now to go vote! #CantStopWontStop #txlege”
Davila began representing Texas’s 52nd House district after winning election in 2023. She succeeded James Talarico in this role.
