Caroline Harris Davila, State Representative for Texas’s 52nd House district and a Republican elected in 2023, recently shared updates on legislative actions and community events through her social media posts.

On September 4, 2025, Davila announced the passage of a new measure targeting lawmakers who break quorum. She wrote, “Earlier this evening, we passed House Resolution 138 to hold those accountable who abandon their sworn oath and break quorum, as Democrats did a few weeks ago. Now, those who walk off the job will face larger fines, removal from chair and vice chair posts, and loss of seniority.”

The following day, September 5, she highlighted her participation in a community celebration. In her words: “Great to celebrate Agape Women’s Clinic with so many people last night! Grateful to @TimTebow for sharing a powerful message and helping highlight Agape’s mission of caring for babies, moms, dads, and families while sharing the love of Jesus. #txlege”

On September 6, Davila posted about attending an event related to new camp safety legislation. She stated: “Today, I joined @LtGovTX, @TexasFLCA, my colleagues, and the families of Camp Mystic campers and counselors who tragically lost their lives in the Central Texas floods as @GregAbbott_TX signed important camp safety legislation into law. Please continue lifting these precious”

Davila was elected to represent Texas’s 52nd House district in 2023 after succeeding James Talarico.
