Davila succeeded James Talarico as representative for Texas’s 52nd district following her election in 2023. In other educational news from California, data from the California Department of Education show that during the 2020-2021 school year at Caroline Harris Elementary School, grade 2 had the highest percentage of enrolled students at 16.9 percent; other grades such as grades 4 (14.4 percent), grade 5 (13.7 percent), grade 6 (15.1 percent), and grade 3 (11.8 percent) accounted for smaller portions of total enrollment.
