Daniel Patterson competes in April 7 Division I baseball matchup for Pepperdine

Daniel Patterson, a former Cedar Ridge High School standout, played for the Pepperdine Waves as they fell 4-2 to the Cal State Northridge Matadors in their NCAA Division I baseball contest at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 7.

Robert J. Hiegert Field hosted the contest, marking the third meeting this season between the teams. Each side has now won one game in the series to date.

Patterson tallied one hit in five at-bats, stranding two runners.

The Waves will face the Pacific Tigers next at Eddy D. Field Stadium on Friday, April 10.
