Jake Wagoner’s Lamar Cardinals fall to TCU in NCAA Division I baseball matchup

The Lamar Cardinals, featuring former Vista Ridge High School standout Jake Wagoner, were defeated 8-6 by the TCU Horned Frogs in their NCAA Division I baseball game on Tuesday, March 31, at 6 p.m.

Lupton Baseball Stadium at Williams-Reilly Field hosted this first encounter of the season between the Cardinals and Horned Frogs.

Wagoner contributed one hit in four at-bats, recorded a strikeout, and stranded three runners.

The Cardinals will next play the Oregon State Beavers on Thursday, April 2, at Vincent-Beck Stadium.
