Michael McCaul, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 10th district since 2005, recently shared notable achievements through his social media platform. Born in Dallas in 1962 and currently residing in Austin, McCaul holds degrees from Trinity University and St. Mary’s University, Texas.
On May 6, 2025, McCaul announced “Our 2nd place winner is Madison Szuluk, a senior from College Station High School. Her piece, titled ‘Booneville’s Blue Symphony,’ represents some of our treasured state flowers through a live impressionistic oil painting. Great work, Madison!” This tweet recognized the artistic accomplishments of a high school student.
In another post on the same day, McCaul celebrated another young artist’s success: “And our 3rd place winner is Brianna Hernandez, a 10th grader from Bryan High School. Her acrylic piece, titled ‘Texas Raised,’ captured so many of our state’s key symbols in one painting. Congrats, Brianna!” Both tweets highlighted local talent and creativity among students.
Later that day, McCaul commented on law enforcement efforts against drug trafficking: “Huge win for law and order! @AGPamBondi and @DEAHQ are cracking down on the Sinaloa cartel, seizing 11.5 kilos of fentanyl — enough to kill millions. Grateful this administration is dedicated to keeping Americans safe and cleaning up our streets.” The statement emphasized significant progress in combating illegal drugs.
Michael McCaul has been serving Texas’ 10th District since replacing Lloyd Doggett in 2005.
