Congressman Michael McCaul, representing Texas’ 10th district since his election in 2005, has recently shared his views and updates via social media. With a background in law from St. Mary’s University and a longtime presence in Congress, McCaul continues to actively engage with issues of national security and foreign policy.

In a message posted on April 29, 2025, McCaul extended a warm welcome to two distinguished guests with his post, “Welcome to Aggieland, @SecRollins and @SecKennedy!” These remarks appear to acknowledge the significance of the visit by Secretaries Rollins and Kennedy to a key location.

Later on April 29, 2025, McCaul commented on border security developments, noting, “The American people gave a mandate to secure the border, and @POTUS delivered. Today, on his 100th day in office, @HomelandGOP is working to fully fund his border security agenda & protect the homeland for years to come.” McCaul informed followers of further content from his interview with Harris Faulkner discussing these political efforts.

On April 30, 2025, McCaul addressed global power dynamics and emphasized the necessity of strong foreign policy and diplomacy in a post, “In the global power competition, strong foreign policy, accountability, and empowered diplomacy are essential for the U.S. to stay on top. @HouseForeignGOP must authorize the State Department to ensure our adversaries do not outpace us on a global scale.” The post gestures towards priorities aimed at strengthening the country’s international standing.

Michael McCaul, a Texan born in Dallas, currently resides in Austin. He completed his undergraduate degree at Trinity University and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University.
