At 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, the Pepperdine Waves, which includes former Cedar Ridge High School standout Daniel Patterson, earned a 7-1 victory over the Saint Mary’s Gaels in NCAA Division I baseball.
The contest was held at Louis Guisto Field. It marked the third meeting of the season between the teams, with the season series currently even.
Patterson went 1 for 4, contributing 2 runs, 2 RBIs, 1 walk and registering 2 strikeouts.
The Waves are set to face the Washington Huskies next, with the matchup scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, at Eddy D. Field Stadium.
