Pepperdine secured a 6-5 victory against the Cal State Northridge Matadors on Tuesday, March 31, at 5 p.m., with former Cedar Ridge High School standout Daniel Patterson in the lineup.

The teams faced off at Eddy D. Field Stadium for their second meeting of the season. Cal State Northridge had prevailed in their previous game on Monday, March 9, with a 12-1 win over the Waves.

Patterson finished the game with one hit in four at-bats, scored two runs, tallied one RBI, drew one walk, struck out once and left two runners on base.

Pepperdine is scheduled to play next on Thursday, April 2, at Patterson Baseball Complex and Coach Steve Hertz Field against the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
