Pepperdine defeats Saint Mary’s 9-5 with strong outing from ex-Cedar Ridge star Daniel Patterson

At 4 p.m. Saturday, March 21, former Cedar Ridge High School standout Daniel Patterson helped lead the Pepperdine Waves to a 9-5 win over the Saint Mary’s Gaels in an NCAA Division I baseball contest.

Louis Guisto Field served as the venue for the matchup. This marked the second meeting between the Waves and the Gaels this season. In their Friday, March 20, matchup, Pepperdine fell 9-8.

Patterson delivered three hits in as many at-bats, tallying two runs, one RBI and seeing two walks.

The Waves are set to play the Gaels at Louis Guisto Field again on Sunday, March 22.
