Robbery at Twin Liquors: APD seeks public’s help to identify suspect

The Austin Police Department’s Robbery Unit is seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in a robbery. The incident occurred at a Twin Liquors store located at 703 Newman Drive on January 22, 2025, at around 6:57 p.m.

According to reports provided by the APD, the suspect entered the store, picked up a bottle, and, during his escape, pushed and injured an employee. The suspect’s description and photograph are included in the department’s release.

The APD urges anyone with information regarding the incident to contact their Robbery unit at 512-974-5092. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program via their website, austincrimestoppers.org, or by calling 512-472-8477. Information that leads to an arrest may qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
