Tarleton State defeats Abilene Christian 10-9 behind Rouse alum Rayner Heinrich

Former Rouse High School standout Rayner Heinrich helped lead the Tarleton State Texans to a 10-9 win over the Abilene Christian Wildcats in an NCAA Division I baseball game held Saturday, April 11, at 3 p.m.

Tarleton Baseball Complex hosted the teams for their second meeting of the season. The Texans previously dropped their Friday, April 10, contest against the Wildcats by a score of 11-4.

Heinrich contributed with one hit in four at-bats, scoring once and recording a strikeout.

The teams are set to face off again Sunday, April 12, at Tarleton Baseball Complex.
