The Tarleton State Texans secured a 5-1 win in their NCAA Division I baseball clash on Tuesday, March 31, with former Rouse High School standout Rayner Heinrich on the roster as they faced the Baylor Bears.
This contest, held at Baylor Ballpark, marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. Their earlier encounter on Tuesday, March 3, resulted in a 6-5 triumph for the Texans.
Heinrich tallied one hit in four plate appearances, striking out twice.
Tarleton State is set to play next on Thursday, April 2, against the UT Arlington Mavericks at Clay Gould Ballpark.
