Tarleton State tops Baylor in NCAA Division I baseball with help from Round Rock alum Andrew Hardin

On Tuesday, March 31, at 6:30 p.m., the Tarleton State Texans, featuring former Round Rock High School standout Andrew Hardin, earned a 5-1 victory over the Baylor Bears in their NCAA Division I baseball game.

The matchup was held at Baylor Ballpark. This marked the teams’ second meeting this season; the Texans previously defeated the Bears 6-5 on Tuesday, March 3.

Hardin pitched one inning and notched a strikeout.

The Texans will play their next game Thursday, April 2, at Clay Gould Ballpark against the UT Arlington Mavericks.
