On Friday, April 3, at 6 p.m., Texas State Bobcats, featuring former Round Rock High School standout Austin Munguia, defeated the Georgia Southern Eagles 15-5 in an NCAA Division I baseball game.

The contest was held at Bobcat Ballpark. This marked their second matchup against the Eagles this season; in the previous matchup on Thursday, April 2, the Bobcats earned an 8-5 win.

Munguia had one hit in four at-bats, scoring once and striking out once.

The Bobcats are set to play the Eagles again on Saturday, April 4, at Bobcat Ballpark.
