At 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, former Liberty Hill High School standout Rylee Slimp’s current team, the UCLA Bruins, claimed a 7-2 victory over the Washington Huskies in NCAA Division I softball.

The matchup took place at Husky Softball Stadium and marked the second time the two teams met this season. UCLA previously defeated Washington 7-5 in their game on Friday, April 24.

Slimp tallied one hit in four at-bats, one run scored, one run batted in and one strikeout.

The Bruins are set to play the Huskies again on Sunday, April 26, at Husky Softball Stadium.
