Cedar Park and Leander businesses are adjusting during the coronavirus outbreak.
Some have closed their storefronts, asking customers to first contact them by phone or email. Others are meeting customers in the parking lot with their purchases. Community Impact Newspaper shares a list of businesses that are still operating:.
***Beau Kisses is offering curbside pickup in Cedar Park.
***Honey & Hay in Cedar Park is closed, but its online store is operational.
***Patchouli Joe's Books & Indulgences in Leander is allowing a maximum of 10 customers in the store at one time.
***Hill Country Water Gardens & Nursery in Cedar Park is operating under normal hours.
***Vintage Fresh on RM620 remains open. Online orders are also being fulfilled.
Stay at home orders were issued on March 24 for Travis and Williamson Counties. Residents are encouraged to stay in their homes except for essential activities. Essential activities include grocery shopping, caring for a pet or family member in another household, and making a trip to the pharmacy or bank. Restaurants are open for drive-thru or to-go service only. Dining in is not permitted.
To slow the spread of the virus, officials encourage good hygiene practices. Wash hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer. Avoid touching the face. Maintain social distancing and avoid close contact with those who are sick. Cover your cough or sneeze. Clean and disinfect commonly used surfaces.
People most at risk for developing serious illness from COVID-19 are senior adults or anyone with a compromised immune system or other serious medical condition including asthma, heart disease, lung disease or diabetes. If exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, fever, cough and fatigue, contact your medical provider.
The current count of confirmed cases in Williamson County is 34, including seven in Cedar Park.
