The Austin Police Department (APD) is seeking help from the public to identify a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. The incident took place at the Tornado Bus Company, located at 711 East Ben White Boulevard, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, around 3:25 p.m.
During the investigation, detectives discovered that a female employee was robbed at gunpoint inside her office. The suspect entered the premises, displayed a firearm, and demanded money. He then physically assaulted the victim by pistol-whipping and punching her before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect headed eastbound toward IH-35.
The APD has provided a description and photos of the suspect to aid in identification efforts.

A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
