4.5% of Williamson County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Williamson County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.5% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 14,590 people out of the 591,759 living in Williamson County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Williamson County has decreased compared to the 4.9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Williamson County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 308,708 people who had a job during that time, 809 were employed in the Armed Forces and 307,899 belonged to the civilian labor force.
