Austin Police Department (APD) detectives are actively searching for a suspect vehicle in connection to a hit-and-run incident that resulted in serious injuries to a pedestrian. The incident took place on Monday, February 26, 2024, at around 4:19 a.m. at the intersection of Manor Road and Rogge Lane.
According to reports, the driver of a newer model, four-door, white pickup truck struck a pedestrian at the aforementioned location and callously fled the scene without offering any assistance. The pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition in the hospital.
In light of this incident, authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
