In light of the upcoming Spring Festival Season, officials are urging visitors to practice responsible park visitation to ensure that these natural spaces can be enjoyed for years to come.

"We know people are excited for Spring Festival Season! It’s important to Leave No Trace so our parks, trails, and green spaces can be enjoyed for Spring Festival Seasons to come," emphasized a spokesperson for the Parks Department.

One key guideline highlighted for park visitors is to "only park in designated parking areas, and take public transportation or alternative transportation whenever possible." This measure aims to minimize the impact of increased visitor traffic on the parks and surrounding areas.

To facilitate a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors, individuals are encouraged to "find transportation options, maps, closures and more information about spring festivals at AustinTexas.gov/SpringFestivalATX."

As the Spring Festival Season approaches, let us all do our part in preserving these natural treasures for future generations to appreciate and enjoy.
