APD Detectives Search for a Suspect in Connection to a Robbery

The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit has issued a request for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery that took place at Beauty Plus on February 16, 2024. According to the release, the incident occurred at 2805 Rogge Lane at around 10:18 a.m.

The suspect, as described by the APD Robbery Unit, entered the store, selected an item, and attempted to leave. A confrontation ensued when the victim intervened, leading to an attack by the suspect.

In efforts to gather information and track down the suspect, the APD Robbery Unit has urged individuals with any relevant details to come forward. As stated by the unit, "Anyone with any information should contact APD's Robbery unit at 512-974-5092."

Furthermore, individuals can choose to submit tips anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. A potential reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.

The APD Robbery Unit is actively seeking assistance from the community to aid in the identification and apprehension of the suspect involved in this robbery case.
