APD Robbery Detectives have announced the arrest of three suspects in connection to a 2023 armed home break-in incident that occurred at Henry Heights Apartments in Austin, Texas. The incident took place on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at approximately 4:44 a.m., resulting in two victims being severely injured.
According to the report, the victims were held at gunpoint by three male suspects who forced their way into the apartment. The victims sustained significant injuries and were transported to a local hospital. Evidence of forced entry, a broken back window, and trails of blood were observed at the scene. It was determined that the victims were targeted for a home invasion style robbery.
Home doorbell camera footage captured the robbery suspects entering the apartment. The three suspects involved in the incident have been identified as Abraham Rodriguez, Corbrie Tyrek Hemphill, and Isaac Lee Trevino. Rodriguez has been in custody since November 1, 2023, while Hemphill was arrested on March 7, 2024. Trevino was already in custody since November 5, 2023, on unrelated drug charges.
One suspect, who remains at large, is described as unidentified. Anyone with information regarding this suspect is urged to contact APD's Robbery unit at 512-974-5092 or submit tips anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program for a possible reward of up to $1,000.
The swift action and collaboration of APD's Violent Crime Taskforce and South Metro Tactical Unit led to the apprehension of the three suspects involved in this alarming home break-in. The authorities continue their efforts to locate the remaining suspect and bring them to justice for their alleged involvement in the crime.
