Austin police seek public's help in identifying robbery suspect

The Austin Police Department (APD) is requesting help from the public to identify a suspect involved in a robbery at a Home Depot store. The incident took place on October 10, 2024, around 7:30 p.m. at the location of 3600 S IH 35 SVRD SB.

According to the APD Robbery Unit, the suspect assaulted a Home Depot Loss Prevention employee before fleeing with stolen items.

The department encourages anyone with information about this case to reach out to their Robbery Unit by calling 512-974-5092. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program via their website at austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be offered for information that leads to an arrest.
