Business and Community Lenders (BCL) of Texas have partnered with Travis County to launch the Travis County Thrive program.

The program, funded via the CARES Act, was designed to provide grants to assist small businesses financially affected by the unprecedented economic impact of COVID-19.

Qualifying businesses are eligible for a grant up to $40,000 in reimbursement to recoup the expenses of payroll, rent, personal protective equipment, and other business expenses, according to the program’s website.

According to the program's guidelines, eligible applicants must be a business located and headquartered in an unincorporated area of Travis County, have been open since March 1, have a maximum annual net income of $500,000, and have 24 or fewer full-time employees. Businesses must also have no outstanding tax liens or legal judgments and must be current on payment plans.

The application along with qualifications and guidelines can be found online on the program’s official website.
