Austin Police Department (APD) detectives are actively seeking information in connection to an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon that took place in the early hours of Sunday, November 26, 2023, at the Ghost Hookah Lounge Parking Lot located at 13717 Burnet Road. The incident occurred at approximately 4:20 a.m.

During the incident, a single victim sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was promptly attended to by APD officers and subsequently transported to a local hospital. Fortunately, the injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.

According to witnesses present at the scene, the suspect responsible for the assault could not be identified. This has prompted APD detectives to reach out to the community for any information that could aid in their investigation.
