The City of Austin is inviting proposals from qualified nonprofit organizations or quasi-governmental entities for delivering mental, physical, and social health services to older adults aged 65 and above residing in Austin/Travis County. The Request for Proposals (RFP), identified as RFP SSAU-2025-002 for aging services, was issued on April 3, 2025.

The deadline for submitting an intent to apply is set for April 17, 2025, while full proposals are due by May 1, 2025. The City anticipates starting contract agreements by October 1, 2025.

Offerors seeking clarification regarding the RFP need to submit their questions in writing by April 24, 2025. Technical assistance requests concerning RFP submission through the PartnerGrants portal are due by April 30, 2025.

To facilitate the proposal process, an optional pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 8, 2025, at 10 AM. There will also be office hours on April 10, 2025, at 2 PM. Interested parties can register for these meetings via EventBrite.

The authorized contact for inquiries related to the RFP is Helen Howell, Social Services Funding Specialist Senior. She can be reached at the email APHCompetitions@austintexas.gov.

For submitting proposals, the City is accepting submissions exclusively through the PartnerGrants database and will not accept paper copies. Necessary documents for the RFP are available, including offer sheets, program budgets, and specific certification requirements.

Key dates, procedural requirements, and documents needed for submission have been disseminated to ensure a transparent and efficient process for all interested parties.
