The Austin Police Department (APD) is seeking the community's assistance in locating a missing endangered adult. The individual in question is identified as Wendell, Douglas Patrick, a 66-year-old male with specific vulnerabilities. Wendell is reported to have a cognitive impairment and requires daily medication for his well-being.

According to APD, Wendell was last seen at 3200 W Slaughter Ln in Austin, Texas. Descriptions provided indicate that he is 5’7” tall, 170 lbs, with short brown hair. He was last observed on March 26, 2024, at 12:50 P.M., clad in a white T-shirt and grey sweatpants.

In a statement released by APD, they urge anyone with information on Wendell's whereabouts to reach out immediately. The department has provided contact numbers for assistance, stating, "APD is requesting assistance locating a missing adult with a cognitive impairment and needing daily medication. If seen call APD 9-1-1 or the Missing Person Unit at 512-974-5250."
