Austin police seek help identifying suspects in July robbery

The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is requesting public assistance in identifying six suspects involved in a robbery on East 6th Street. The incident occurred on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at approximately 12:58 a.m.

According to the APD, the suspects assaulted the victims and took property. Photos and descriptions of the suspects have been provided by the police.

The APD urges anyone with information to contact its Robbery Unit at 512-974-5092. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-TIPS. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
