There were 120 multiracial students enrolled in Orenda Charter School District in the 2022-23 school year, 22.4% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Orenda Charter School District welcomed 1,878 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 6.4% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Orenda Charter School District roughly covers schools within Bell County and has a main office in Georgetown.

Among the five schools in Orenda Charter School District, Gateway College Preparatory School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 93 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
