U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul (R-Texas) has criticized the Biden-Harris administration following the release of new data from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The data reveals that nearly 650,000 criminal illegal aliens have been released into the United States under the current administration.
McCaul, who serves as chairman emeritus and senior member of the House Committee on Homeland Security, expressed his concerns in a statement issued today. He highlighted what he described as the dangerous consequences of the administration's "catch and release" policy.
"For years, I've warned about the Biden-Harris administration's dangerous catch and release scheme, but the data is more harrowing than I could ever have imagined," said Rep. McCaul. "Because of this administration, convicted criminals including murderers and rapists are walking the streets of communities, where families are raising their children. To say Americans deserve better would be the understatement of the century."
McCaul emphasized that it is crucial for the administration to recognize and address these issues promptly. "The administration must wake up to the damage they've caused and be held accountable. Our nation can't take four more years of their gross negligence," he added.
