Austin police seek help identifying robbery suspects

The Austin Police Department (APD) is seeking the public's help in identifying two individuals involved in a robbery at the Lucky Lounge on Menchaca Road. The incident took place on October 16, 2024, around 3:04 a.m.

According to APD, two suspects entered the establishment with a semiautomatic pistol. One suspect aimed the weapon at a female customer and stole her purse before proceeding to rob the cashier. The second suspect acted as a lookout by staying near the door.

Authorities have released images and descriptions of the suspects. They urge anyone with information to contact APD's Robbery Unit at 512-974-5092. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting their website or calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest.
