Carter Announces 2023 Congressional Art Competition Winner

Representative John Carter (TX-31) announced Bella Davis from Georgetown High School as the winner of the 2023 Congressional Art Competition at an awards ceremony held at Texas State University- Round Rock over the weekend.

 

"I am blown away by the creativity of the students from TX-31 who submitted their artwork for the 2023 Congressional Art Competition," said Carter. "Every year we have a difficult time picking a winner and this year was no different. Each piece that was submitted had a lot of thought and hard work put into it.

 

"I am proud that Bella's painting, 'Flores Liberadoras,' will represent Texas' 31st district in the United States Capitol and millions of visitors from around the country will enjoy it. Congratulations, Bella!"
