Representative Carter Secures $2 Million for City of Hamilton in FY 2024 Appropriations Bill

Representative John Carter, serving Texas' 31st district, has successfully secured $2 million in community project funds aimed at enhancing the water distribution and wastewater collection system within the City of Hamilton. The significant allocation was included in the Interior Appropriations legislation, which recently became law.

In response to this achievement, Representative Carter expressed his commitment to improving the lives of Texans through responsible funding allocation, stating, "As a chairman on the Appropriations Committee, I'm in a unique position to responsibly bring much-needed funding back to our congressional district and improve the lives of Texans."
