Austin police seek public assistance in identifying robbery suspects

The Austin Police Department (APD) is seeking the public's help in identifying two suspects linked to a robbery that took place on October 24, 2024. The incident occurred at 9:04 p.m. at 5001 Crainway Drive. According to the APD Robbery Unit, the suspects approached the victim at gunpoint, forced entry into their apartment, and attempted to steal personal belongings.

In an effort to apprehend the suspects, the APD has released descriptions and photos of both individuals involved in the crime. They urge residents to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities by contacting 911.

For those with information regarding this case, contact APD's Robbery Unit at 512-974-5092. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

"APD's Robbery Unit wants to remind residents to be aware of their surroundings," stated a representative from the department.
