"More than 80,000 minors are known to be victims of trafficking in Texas alone, and this number continues to increase among school-aged children." He mentioned that his bill aims to enhance penalties for those convicted of trafficking near school events.
Later that day, McCaul acknowledged participants in a coding competition by stating "This year's runners-up were Emma Sciaraffia and Tavishi Gupta." He emphasized the growing importance of computer coding skills amidst rapid global changes.
