Austin police seek public help in identifying suspect in aggravated robbery

The Austin Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery. The incident took place at a 7-Eleven gas station located at 3801 West Parmer Lane on December 11, 2024.

According to the police, the suspect entered the store, displayed a firearm, and demanded money and cigarillos from the clerk. The suspect is described as a Black male with a heavy build, approximately six feet tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a gray hoodie featuring a graphic design of a stylized face, carrying a black backpack, dressed in blue jeans that were faded and torn, and dark shoes.

The Austin Police Department's Robbery Unit has urged anyone with information about this individual to contact them at 512-974-5092. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting their website or calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be offered for information leading to an arrest.
