The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery at the McDonald’s located at 5762 North Mopac Expressway. The incident occurred on June 27, 2024, between 11:30 p.m. and 11:42 p.m.
According to APD, the suspect held a McDonald's employee at gunpoint while demanding money from the vault.
Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact APD's Robbery Unit at 512-974-5092. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-TIPS. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
