Delta Air Lines has announced plans to increase its presence in Austin, Texas, with the addition of 11 new peak-day flights starting from April 22, 2024. This expansion aims to provide more choices and convenience for travelers in Central Texas.

The airline will be increasing its seat capacity in Austin by 20% compared to July 2023, connecting the Lone Star State with new routes to Midland-Odessa and McAllen. Delta will offer three daily flights for each route, providing direct connections for West Texas travelers to access Delta's global network via Austin.

"We are excited to grow our presence in Austin and provide more options for travelers in Central Texas," said a spokesperson from Delta Air Lines. "These new flights will offer convenience and connectivity, allowing passengers to easily access Delta's extensive network."

In addition to the new routes, Delta will also introduce a brand-new service for their Austin network. Nonstop flights to Nashville will be available with three daily flights, while Cincinnati and Raleigh-Durham will see additional flights, with a total of two daily flights and three daily flights, respectively.

The new flights will be operated by Delta Connection carriers Endeavor and SkyWest, offering passengers a comfortable and stylish travel experience with their dual-class regional jets equipped with First Class and Delta Comfort+.

Travelers interested in booking their next adventure can visit the Delta website for more information on the flight schedule.

It is important to note that Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, where these flights will originate, advises all customers to check with the airline for any cancellation information.

With this expansion, Delta Air Lines aims to provide more options and convenience for travelers in Austin and strengthen its presence in the Live Music Capital of the World.
