Austin police are seeking the public's assistance in an investigation into a recent shooting at Lit Lounge. On March 30, 2025, at approximately 1:02 a.m., officers from the Austin Police Department (APD) and the Counter Assault Strike Team (CAST) responded to reports of a shooting at the nightclub located at 215 E. 6th Street.
Upon arrival, police found four individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims informed officers that the shooting occurred inside the venue. The APD Aggravated Assault Unit is leading the inquiry into this case and is actively soliciting any visual evidence from the public to aid their investigation.
Detectives are urging anyone with photos or videos taken at Lit Lounge around the time of the shooting to provide them. Submissions can be made by using a QR code or link provided by the APD. The department can be contacted directly with information, and tips can be offered anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program. Informants may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
