The Austin Police Department's Robbery Unit is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect linked to a theft incident at a Circle K store. The event took place on November 26, 2024, at around 9:03 a.m. at the store located at 1601 E Saint Elmo Road.
According to the police report, the suspect entered the store and waited until there were no other customers present. The individual then approached the cashier and requested change for a larger bill. When the cashier opened the register, the suspect grabbed a large amount of money from their hand and fled.
The police have provided a description and photo of the suspect in hopes of gathering information from the public. Anyone with details about this incident is urged to contact APD's Robbery Unit at 512-974-5092. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. Information leading to an arrest may qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
