The Susanna Dickinson Museum is set to commemorate its 15th anniversary with a public event on March 2, 2025. Located at 411 East 5th St., the museum will host a celebration from noon until 3 p.m., featuring activities centered around Texas history.
The event will include live music and activities designed for families. A highlight of the day will be an Old West photo booth and a craft station where attendees can create mini fabric flags. These crafts are inspired by women who contributed to historic Texas flags and the "Descendants of the Alamo" quilt.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore exhibits within the museum. Among these are historic quilts made by Susanna Dickinson's family and artwork curated by Art from the Streets, which features local artists.
